The Seiko Solar Chronograph collection has a built-in stop watch with 60 minute and 24 hour subdials, suitable for timing long events. Yet the watch is 200 meter water resistant thanks to a screw down crown, screw down case back and very rare screw down stopwatch pushers. The pushers must be unscrewed for the stop watch to be engaged. This is an exceptional feature and will prevent costly accidental pushes when underwater.

The SOLAR POWERED Calibre V175 Quartz Movement has a 6 month power reserve when fully charged. You will never need to replace a battery or open the case back and break the water resistant seals. Plus the watch continuously recharges in any light. Indoors or outdoors this watch is ready for action. The case is entirely made of stainless steel and the crystal is the very tough and durable Hardlex Crystal, developed and perfected by Seiko.

The model SSC017 has Steel Bracelet is solid, not hollow and the attachment uses a new, extra thick steel spring bar for extra durability. The bracelet itself has a double-locking 3-fold clasp with a dive suit extender. The model SSC031 has the traditional Rubber Dive Band.

New Automatics from Traser

Today I bring you some very exciting news from the Tritium watch world.  Traser, one of the worlds leading Tritium watch manufacturers, is bring out two brand new automatic watches with full tritium illumination.  The first model is based off of the incredibly good looking Aviator series and the other is from the P6600 military camp.  Both watches feature Swiss ETA movements.  The GMT Aviator features the ETA 2893-2 and the P6600 Automatic features the ETA 2824-2 EL.  Both watches are extremely well made and have the amazingly bright tritium illumination we have all come to know and love.  I love to see both of these series expanding their selection.  Traser truly is one of the very best watch manufacturers out there and these two series are some of my favorites.

The Aviator collect is quite frankly one of the best looking watches being made today.  In a world fully of military type watches the Master collection is a breath of fresh air.  It is a series equally at home in the office, on the golf course or out in the field.  It is still tough enough to wear anywhere you want to take it and still one of the best looking watches around.  On top of that, this watch also features a 4-hand GMT that is also Tritium illuminated.  This allows you to use the GMT function (UTC/ZULU or just as a second time zone) anytime, day or night.  In the Tritium watch world, very few watches have have an illuminated 4th hand setting this watch even further apart from the pack.  This is a truly unique timepiece, not to be passed up by the true collector.

Wenger GST Diver

There is no denying that the all new Wenger GST Diver has startling good looks. The all black design is stunning and the attention to detail is top notch. From the Black PVD Stainless Steel Case, to the polished Black patterned dial, to the rugged and heavy all black rubber dive strap, this is one great looking watch. It's the little things that make the difference in a watch like this. Like the multi-level patterned dial and just the right amount of orange accents to set it all off with a prefect balance of good looks and supreme readability.

But it's not just good looks that makes the Wenger GST Diver one of our most highly recommended professional quality dive watches. Mondaine Chronograph with Night Vision

A bold yet sleek statement, the Mondaine Official Swiss Railways Watch Sport II has the classic Mondaine award winning design with the highest technology Swiss Chronograph (stopwatch) movement and Tritium Night View Illumination. It is the perfect combination of style and functionality.

The Sport II has a 42 millimeter brushed stainless steel case highlighted with a black PVD fixed bezel that is decorated with six polished stainless steel screws. It is available in two dial choices, either black or white with opposite color hands and the signature red stopwatch sweep second hand. The continuous sweep second subdial and the 30 minute elapse time subdial also have red hands.

As you can see, the hands and dial have tritium illumination for perfect night illumination. In addition the watch features a large double window date display that is easy to read at a glance, yet adds to the classic design motif.
